My Recruiting Experience
An older teammate of mine went to Middlebury a couple years before me. I toured multiple colleges in the NESCAC and other college leagues before committing, but the hospitality of people around campus and my prospective teammates at Middlebury played a main role in my decision to commit. I also valued a rigorous academic program along with a strong and competitive soccer program, so Middlebury seemed like the perfect fit for me.
Being A Collegiate Athlete
In particular with Division 3 sports, I loved the ability to pursue different passions. When it was time for soccer (in season and in the off season), everyone gave it their 100% to ensure the team exceeded the goals set for themselves. But there was also time to develop and cultivate other passions that are not related to sports - whether that be intellectually, artistically, professionally or socially.
