My Recruiting Experience
During my recruitment process, I went to various ID camps and asked schools I was interested in to come see me play at tournaments. After doing some campus visits, I decided which schools I could most see myself at and accepted an offer at my first choice program. Through this process, I learned that being proactive in reaching out to your target schools increases your chances of getting on those schools’ radars. Very little gets accomplished by waiting for coaches to reach out to you first.
Being A Collegiate Athlete
My college team was my family! To have an established community and support system going into a new college environment was huge in getting my feet under me athletically, academically, and socially. I was so fortunate to be part of a program where everyone not only excelled on the field, in the classroom, and in the community, but was also kind, supportive, and just all-around incredible people.
