My Recruiting Experience
I began my recruitment process by attending large ID camps and showcases. I then created a smaller list of schools I was interested in and began reaching out directly to coaches and attending smaller ID camps. Through this process, I learned the importance of proactive communication and research. Coming from a small prep school in New England, I didn’t receive much guidance in my recruitment. Navigating the process independently taught me valuable lessons, helping me grow and learn from the mistakes I made along the way.
Being A Collegiate Athlete
Being a collegiate athlete taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. It was incredibly rewarding to compete and grow within a program that was bigger than me which fostered a sense of pride and belonging. Above all, I am most grateful for the lifelong friendships and second family that I found through collegiate soccer.
